Nike and Kevin Durant go the patriotic route with the upcoming release of the KD8 "USA" colorway, the latest offering in the epic line of shoes.
It's colorway No. 8 for Durant's classic shoe, this one splashed in the obvious colorings with the familiar Flyweave knit fabrication and Flywire cables.
Here's a look at the release details, via SoleCollector.com:

SneakerMob.com provided a look at the sides of the sleek design in a fitting environment, which showcases the patriotic colors:
Twitter user Karla Claveria 360° offered a couple more angles of the appealing shoe, one which classifies as a modern classic at this point:
Folks know the drill by now with the shoe—the smooth logo trumpets itself on the top of the tongue, this time in a sleek silver. The red, white and blue take on a paint-splash tone on the side.
The Sole Supplier offered another look, which gets up close and personal with the texture of the front and bottom:
Perhaps most eye-catching of all is the bright red bottom, which is the only color the under shoe features, the perfect complement to the theme. The patented logo resides in its usual spot right in the middle.
Don't sleep on the inside of the back of the design either, though, as sneakerfreakermag.ru showcased:
The inside offers the same bright red as the bottom. As for the back, the red-blue look wraps nicely, but the square multi-colored patch pushes things over the top.
As far as holiday-themed shoes go, Durant's latest offering hits the mark—the familiar design everyone seems to love remains intact, but it gets a splash of familiar, unmistakable colors sure to turn heads.
By now, sneakerheads know the shoe performs well on the hard court. Now there's yet another edition to wear out to impress, just in time for July.
Sneakerheads can get their hands on the KD8 "USA" starting Saturday.
