Nike 'What The' KD 7 Release Date Schedule, Pics and Retail Price
Nike and Kevin Durant get crazy with Saturday's release of the "What The" KD 7, a shoe which pays homage to the modern classic's prior releases.
Call it one of the most fitting names for a shoe this year—the splash of colors and designs at all layers of the sneaker are enough to make an observer mutter the exact name of the shoe whether they know it or not.
Here's a look at the release details, via Sneaker Bar Detroit:

Where to start?
It's an eye-catching shoe, to say the least. With more than 15 Nike KD 7 colorways on store shelves, it seems the two parties wanted to honor the modern design by pulling inspiration from each shoe.
Like many of his recent releases, Durant's main theme here is lightning, which the translucent straps across the laces showcase. Sneaker Shouts offers a look at another angle:
Sneaker Bar Detroit provides a top-down angle, which features the straps and the top-of-tongue design fans of the shoe have come to know and love:
The other familiar features are there as well. The black swoosh on each side remains intact, as do the black-white laces and the solid midsole, which gives way to the innovative bottom.
Even the inside of each shoe varies, with one featuring a black design and the other an eye-popping green, as Fashion Deals reveals:
It seems this one will come down to a love-hate feeling among sneakerheads.
Some might think the splash of colors throughout the mostly translucent shoe is too much, while others will love the nod to past editions and the ability to turn heads no matter where they go.
Either way, the KD7 seems to have another hit sneaker. It's a design collectors will want to get their hands on as soon as possible starting Saturday.
