Russell Westbrook Partners with NBA to Make High-End Frames for Teams

Thomas DuffyJun 9, 2015

Russell Westbrook is an absolute beast on the basketball court…and in the fashion world.

The All-Star point guard has worked with Barneys New York, True Religion, Zenith Watches, Kings & Jaxs and Jordan Brand. Westbrook Frames, a company he co-owns, has now partnered with the NBA to collaborate on a high-end line of team-specific glasses frames.

The initial release includes frames for seven teams - Cleveland, Boston, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami, New York, Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets. They are available on the Westbrook Frames website for $145.

There are designs for all 30 teams, and eventually, the others will be released, said Marc Beckman, Westbrook Frames co-owner and Westbrook's marketing agent for fashion.

This is Westbrook Frames' second time teaming up with the NBA, as the two released an All-Star series in January.
