Dwyane Wade Surprises Florida HS Students at Graduation Ceremony
Dwyane Wade took a break from staring down low-ball offers this week to head north, his destination a high school of students who really, really wanted the Miami Heat star in attendance as they walked across the stage at graduation.
It all began with #WadetoWestern—a hashtag started by Negeen Fallahzadeh, a senior at Western High School in Davie, Florida. Fallahzadeh started the hashtag in 2014 with the hopes of garnering enough attention to bring the shooting guard to her school's graduation ceremony.
The school quickly fell in love with the idea and, suffice to say, pitched in accordingly:
After all this work, the notice was received. Wade heard about the hashtag and dropped by Western's graduation ceremony Thursday night to surprise Fallahzadeh and her peers with some words of wisdom.
Video and pictures were taken. Everyone looked on point:
"How was your graduation? #WadeToWestern #AllergicToNo #ClassOf2015 pic.twitter.com/qYWwOCnuIQ

Udonis Haslem also joined the movement, filming a video with words for Western's graduating class:
"Celebrate, take some time to hug the people that invested in you. ... But after that, it's time to get back to work. College is very, very important. Without college, I wouldn't be here today. It's not about basketball; it was about being responsible.
"
Yes, Western grads: It's time for you to step into the collegiate world, where you'll study, live off booze and burritos for four years and somehow walk away better-equipped for the world.
So it's almost as good as meeting Dwyane Wade.
Dan is on Twitter starting #WadetoWendys, with the objective of getting Dwyane Wade to join me at Wendy's for a spicy chicken sandwich. They're delicious.
