Where are you right now?

Take a look around. Smell the air. Soak in the details and etch them forever in the papyrus walls of your mind's eye.

Participating in an #AskPOTUS Q&A from his recently minted Twitter handle, President Barack Obama acknowledged the Cleveland Cavaliers guard and his impressive basketball prowess. He also acknowledged LeBron James and Stephen Curry out of professional courtesy.

Now, we know President Obama is playing coy here. Clearly, J.R. Smith is an elevated being and force of nature not unlike the Santa Ana winds: It's not a question of if he'll start a fire, but when.

But props to the president for being considerate and bringing other names into the conversation, and give thanks to him for acknowledging J.R.'s place in the pantheon of NBA greatness. 'Tis a glorious time to be alive.

Dan is on Twitter. He'll tell his kids about this day.
