Paul Millsap Reportedly Agrees to 3-Year Contract with Atlanta Hawks
Paul Millsap reportedly decided to stay with the Atlanta Hawks after testing the free-agent waters.
Shams Charania of RealGM was first to report news of the agreement, with David Aldridge of NBA.com noting Millsap signed a three-year contract worth $58 million, with the final year being a player option.
Earlier in the day, ESPN's Chris Broussard reported the Orlando Magic offered Millsap a four-year, $80 million deal and that the power forward would decide between Orlando and Atlanta.

Florida HC Responds to NBA Rumors
Broussard added the New York Knicks, Indiana Pacers and Dallas Mavericks "were interested in Millsap but he will not meet with them."
On June 12, Spencer Checketts of 1280 The Zone reported the Jazz would attempt to bring Millsap back this offseason after the forward spent his first seven years in the NBA with Utah.
Prior to free agency, Millsap was cagey when asked about his future when speaking to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, via Marc Berman of the New York Post.
"I think looking at different options, looking at this team, looking at what we’ve built thus far, in weighing my options I can’t make a decision right now. It’s been a long series, a long year, for me and the team. Let things die down, cool off, relax and think about it a little bit. We are a family. This team is close. It will play a lot into the decision.
"
Millsap, 30, is probably looking at his last major contract, deciding to stick with the Hawks to try to make another run at the NBA Finals.
