'Boston Herald' Runs Front Page Claiming Deflategate Is About 'Envy'
Boston sports fans are a fascinating breed.
They live in the vicinity of other humans, but they have diverged onto their own evolutionary path over the years due to isolation and circumstance—like Galapagos lizards that colonized a remote island where Good Will Hunting and the 2002 Super Bowl parade play on an interchanging loop.
This has led to the development of certain qualities that separate the Boston sports fan from others— most notably, a keen sense of persecution.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Recent events have brought this trait to the fore, and we may have reached peak #Bawston with the Boston Herald’s running of an entire front page blaming Deflategate on everyone else being jealous of Boston.
ESPN’s Darren Rovell tweeted a pic of the page, which claims "envy" and "the howling winds of jealousy" are to blame for the NFL's suspension of Tom Brady:
I don’t know, guys.
I guess it could be that the world and the sports industrial complex at large have conspired against Boston in a wild fit of jealousy. You can never rule out that Roger Goodell has secretly resented Robert Kraft's trophies and ready access to chowder.
Or it could be that someone broke a rule and an entity known for rifling bad punishments off the hip missed the mark again. It's a long shot, sure, but you never know.
Dan is on Twitter. Factoid: Boston jealousy built the pyramids.
