Per Michael McCann of Sports Illustrated, a conviction could carry up to 10 years in prison although Hernandez is already serving a life sentence for the murder of Lloyd:
According to WCVB.com and ESPN's Michele Steele, it is alleged that Hernandez shot Bradley in February 2013 after Bradley made mention of the 2012 murders of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado:
Prosecutors indicted Hernandez last year in the shooting deaths of Abreu and Furtado. A trial is forthcoming although no official date has been set. According to Steele, the status hearing for the trial will be on May 21 in Boston.
