
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Released from Hospital After Experiencing Dizziness
NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar reportedly had to be taken to the hospital, and later released, after experiencing dizziness Wednesday morning.ย
TMZ Sportsย first reported the story:
"Kareem Abdul-Jabbarย was rushed to an L.A. hospital Wednesday morning for chest pains ... just two hours after he tweeted to fans that he was "feeling better" ...ย TMZ Sportsย has learned.ย
We've confirmed ... someone called 911 to request help for the NBA legend ... who had aย quadruple coronary bypass surgeryย on April 16th.ย
An ambulance transported Abdul-Jabbar to a nearby hospital where he was treated for chest pains. He's currently being treated by doctors though his condition is unclear.ย

Abdul-Jabbar is recovering from quadruple coronary bypass surgery that he had in Los Angeles at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center on April 16.
The Hall of Famer spent 20 seasons in the NBA, six with the Milwaukee Bucks and 14 with the Los Angeles Lakers, averaging 24.6 points, 11.2 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game. He made a whopping 19 All-Star teams, was the 1969-70 Rookie of the Year and was a six-time MVP. He also won six championships, five of them with the Lakers, and is the NBA's all-time leading scorer withย 38,387 total points.
Abdul-Jabbar, 68, is no stranger to medical conditions, as he was diagnosed withย leukemia in 2008. The entire NBA community is certainly hopingย Abdul-Jabbar's latest ailments areย manageableย and the legendย recovers soon.
