Greivis Vasquez Thinks Raptors Need an 'Assh--e' Paul Pierce-Type Player
It's no secret that there's no love lost between the Washington Wizards' Paul Pierce and the Toronto Raptors. However, Raptors guard Greivis Vasquez believes a player like Pierce could be the missing piece for Toronto.
Pierce angered the Raptors earlier this month with some of his comments to ESPNBoston.com's Jackie MacMullan, mainly that he doesn't think they have the "it" factor. Those comments didn't sit well with the team or its fans, but the Raptors were unable to do anything about it on the court.
Washington used a blowout victory in Game 4 on Sunday to sweep Toronto out of the first round of the playoffs. Shortly after the series was over, Pierce took some time to troll his defeated opponent on social media.
On Monday, Vasquez talked about what is missing from the current Raptors squad, via CBS Sports' James Herbert:
Vasquez elaborated on that comment:

Many contenders have at least one player who gives the team a bit of an edgy mentality. According to Vasquez, the Raptors don't have a player like that—and that's what he believes could take the team to the next level.
