Willie Cauley-Stein Signs with Roc Nation: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction

Roc Nation announced Friday that Kentucky star Willie Cauley-Stein is the latest athlete to join its growing list of high-profile sports clients.

The company confirmed the signing via social media:

Cauley-Stein joins a Roc Nation Sports group that also includes Kevin Durant, Dez Bryant and Robinson Cano, among others from across the sports spectrum. The company is owned by entertainment maven Jay Z.

The center joined a majority of his Kentucky teammates in declaring for the 2015 NBA draft after the college season came to a close. He's a defensive force who averaged better than two blocks per game across his three years with the Wildcats.

Right now, he figures to land in the latter stages of the lottery. That stock could obviously rise or fall depending on how he performs during the draft process. But he should make an instant impact on the defensive end no matter where he lands.
