
Mike Conley Injury: Updates on Grizzlies Star's Eye and Return
Mike Conley of the Memphis Grizzlies exited Game 3 vs. the Portland Trail Blazers after taking an elbow to the face from Portland's C.J. McCollum and did not return. He underwent successful surgery on April 27 and was out for Game 1 of the team's second-round series against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday. He will play in Game 2.

Conley Will Play in Game 2 vs. Warriors

ESPN's Marc Stein reported that Conley is active Tuesday night. "If I think he's hurting us or does not look good, I'll take him out," head coach Dave Joerger said, via ESPN's Michael Wallace. Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports reported that Conley's foot is still bothering him.
USA Today's Sam Amick reported on May 4 that Conley was "just not healed enough just yet, and a person with knowledge of his situation said it was looking unlikely that he would play in Game 2 on Tuesday. The person spoke to USA Today Sports on the condition of anonymity because of the fluid nature of the situation."

During the regular season, the 27-year-old finished third on the team in points (15.8 PPG) and first in assists (5.4 APG). He also had the highest offensive box plus/minus (3.2) among the Grizzlies' regular contributors, according to Basketball-Reference.com.
