Milwaukee Bucks Pull Off April Fools' Prank with New Team Color, Unveil New Logo
The NBA season might be winding down, but the Milwaukee Bucks thought Wednesday would be the perfect time to change their image.
Prior to the Bucks' game against the Chicago Bulls, they hinted at new jerseys that they would unveil at halftime, tweeting a photo of uniforms with orange trim:
The jerseys turned out to be an April Fools' prank on the fans, but Milwaukee did announce a new color scheme coming April 13.
The halftime presentation did unveil something, however, showing off a brand new logo for the Bucks.
Andrew Gruman from FOX Sports reported that the new color scheme will be green, cream and blue.
Here's the team's video announcing the date for the unveiling of the new color scheme:
Considering the Bucks are likely heading to the playoffs, this seems like as good of a time as any to rebrand the franchise.
