Jazz PR announced that Hood did not participate in the team's morning practice, per Aaron Falk of the Salt Lake Tribune.
Hood Leaves vs. Timberwolves with Illness

The Timberwolves' official PR Twitter account indicated that Hood would not return to the floor after logging 20 minutes and recording eight points, four assists and two steals:
After a sluggish start to his rookie NBA campaign, Hood has progressed nicely toward the end of the season.
The No. 23 overall draft pick out of Duke brings excellent size to Utah's perimeter rotation and scored 19 points during the previous contest in a loss to Golden State. Hood also logged a career-best 24 points in last Monday's win over Charlotte.
Although this ailment doesn't figure to keep Hood out for long, it'd be best for the Jazz to exercise caution in dealing with their talented 22-year-old 2-guard.
