Daily Fantasy Basketball 2015: NBA DraftKings Ideal Lineup Picks for March 23

Eric MackMar 23, 2015

Going with NBA sleepers isn't a sexy way to set your ideal daily fantasy basketball lineup, but it can be a profitable one and a way to pick megastars like James Harden and their huge price tag. We help you get set for DraftKings' six-game slate for Monday, March 23.

PG Kemba Walker, Charlotte Hornets ($7,000)

We shouldn't feel overly confident in Walker on a back-to-back after his return to injury, but Walker's production has come back, and his price continues to be in the bargain range. The good news is the Hornets need Walker and these games in their bid to get the eighth and final spot in the playoffs.

The matchup isn't perfect for Walker either, but we will point right back to the Hornets' need for Walker to lead them. Walker had his best performance Sunday since returning from injury, scoring 43.75 DraftKings points.

  • Mike Conley, Memphis Grizzlies ($6,100)
  • Aaron Brooks, Chicago Bulls ($5,600)

SG Bojan Bogdanovic, Brooklyn Nets ($3,700)

You don't need anyone to tell you to try to slot James Harden ($11,200) into your lineup. You need ways to make it work. Bogdanovic might be one. He is a cheap option right now who is getting minutes because of his shooting ability. He is averaging over 30 minutes and 27 DraftKings points in his past four games in the past week.

  • James Harden, Houston Rockets ($11,200)
  • Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards ($5,800)

SF Jeff Green, Memphis Grizzlies ($5,700)

Green is hot, scoring 21, 15 and 23 points in his past three games on 10 of 16 shooting from beyond the arc. It just so happens the New York Knicks are on the schedule Monday night, ranking dead last in the NBA against opposing three-point percentage allowed, per NBA.com. You don't need stats to know the lowly New York Knicks are a good matchup for anyone.

  • Tony Allen, Memphis Grizzlies ($5,000)
  • Jonas Jerebko, Boston Celtics ($3,600)

PF Brandon Bass, Boston Celtics ($5,300)

Another bargain guy, the matchup trumps the fact he is on a back-to-back. Bass should be able to rebound against the Brooklyn Nets, which makes him a sleeper candidate for a 12-12 double-double. Outside of the top-priced options at the position, which you might not be able to afford, Bass is the best value.

  • Derrick Favors, Utah Jazz ($7,700)
  • Pau Gasol, Chicago Bulls ($8,300)

Brook Lopez, Brooklyn Nets ($6,500)

He has been scorching of late, and his price really hasn't risen beyond the value range, considering he is averaging over 37 DraftKings points in his past five games over 10 days. The Celtics are not an overly big team inside, so Lopez should be able to do some damage offensively and on the boards here. Lopez was good for 32 points and 18 rebounds Friday, and came back Saturday with another 26 points. He's the ideal man for the position right now in daily fantasy lineups.
