Daily Fantasy Basketball 2015: Best NBA DFS DraftKings Lineup for March 22

Eric MackMar 22, 2015

Few can get excited about a Philadelphia 76ers-Los Angeles Lakers matchup except those in daily fantasy leagues. Two of the NBA's worst teams, especially defensively, face off, making for some value plays. In this article, we help you set your best DraftKings lineup for Sunday, March 22.

PG Rajon Rondo, Dallas Mavericks ($5,900)

Rondo might not be anyone's first choice among point guards Sunday, but he is at least in the value range with his price. The Phoenix Suns are just 25th against point guards at DraftKings, and they are playing on a back-to-back. They are thin at the guard spot right now, as Rondo might not have to contend with Brandon Knight (ankle). He should flirt with a triple-double of 15-10-10.

  • Ish Smith, Philadelphia 76ers ($5,700)
  • Ty Lawson, Denver Nuggets ($6,800)
  • John Wall, Washington Wizards ($8,700)

SG Victor Oladipo, Orlando Magic ($7,800)

He has cooled off after a hot start to March, but the good news is his Magic give him plenty of opportunities to shoot and score his way out of slumps. He has attempted more than 20 shots from the floor in each of his past four games. He gets to the line too. Expect him to carry the offensive load in a game against the Nuggets that should be very competitive if not loose until the end.

  • Eric Bledsoe, Phoenix Suns ($8,000)
  • Wayne Ellington, Los Angeles Lakers ($4,500)

SF Wilson Chandler, Denver Nuggets ($5,400)

The Magic are 29th in the NBA against in opposing field-goal percentage, so this should be one of Chandler's good offensive games. The Magic are also 22nd at DraftKings against small forwards. Chandler has surpassed 20 points twice this month, both against the Houston Rockets, another similarly generous team defensively. This is a good value, especially if you like to go rich at the premium positions.

  • Rudy Gay, Sacramento Kings ($7,800)
  • P.J. Tucker, Phoenix Suns ($5,300)

PF Nerlens Noel, Philadelphia 76ers ($7,700)

Noel isn't a polished offensive player yet, but he certainly looked like one Friday night against the New York Knicks, scoring 23 points on 9-of-14 shooting. It was easily his best performance of the month, and he goes up against another bottom-feeder here in the Lakers, who are 28th in the NBA in scoring defense and 20th against the power forward position at DraftKings.

  • Jae Crowder, Boston Celtics ($5,000)
  • Ed Davis, Los Angeles Lakers ($4,600)

C DeMarcus Cousins, Sacramento Kings ($9,700)

The Kings' loss of Cousins (calf) Friday night has turned out to be daily fantasy players' gain Sunday. Cousins is listed as probable, according to James Ham, ESPN.com contributor. When Cousins has been active of late, he has been good, and he scored 30 points against the Wizards in their last meeting. He should be busy after his extended rest before Sunday too.

  • Andre Drummond, Detroit Pistons ($8,000)
  • Jusuf Nurkic, Denver Nuggets ($4,000)
