Batum was declared out against the Warriors Tuesday evening, confirms Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Joe Freeman of The Oregonian provided details on Batum's status following Saturday's 97-86 loss against the Memphis Grizzlies:
"Batum, who went scoreless and missed his only four field goals attempts, watched the second half laying on a table in the trainer's room. After the game, he said it was tough to stand.
"
Freeman first reported March 21 that Batum was suffering from lower back pain and exited Portland's matchup with Memphis. Before leaving, he was on the floor for 15 minutes and went 0-of-4 from the field.
