Collison to Work Out Thursday

Wednesday, April 8

Head coach Scott Brooks updated Collison's status, saying the big man will work out Thursday and that the team will "see how he feels," according to Anthony Slater of The Oklahoman.

On April 6, Randy Renner of NBA.com reported that Collison did not practice with the Thunder as he tried to recover from an ankle injury.

On March 21, Brooks reported that Collison would be out "at least 10 days" with his ankle issue, according to Renner. Brooks said, "If you don't laugh, you're gonna cry, sometimes I feel like crying," when discussing the Thunder's injury woes, according to Renner.

Collison Injured vs. Hawks

Friday, March 20

ESPN.com's Royce Young reported that Collison was on crutches after the Thunder's 123-115 victory Friday night over the Atlanta Hawks and unable to put weight on his left foot. Collison said he'll have his left ankle evaluated Saturday:

Collison entered the game averaging 3.9 points and 3.7 rebounds a night. Although he isn't among the Thunder's most important players, his absence could only make things worse for the team as it attempts to hold onto a playoff spot in the Western Conference.
