The No. 16 Pirates may need to get all of their celebrating in now. The win bought them a date with the No. 1 Kentucky Wildcats. The Wildcats are 34-0, and a No. 16 seed has never beaten a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.
Let's just say the odds are stacked against the Pirates.

An impressive double-double by Quinton Chievous led the Pirates to the victory. The 6'6" senior had 15 points and 13 rebounds in a clutch performance. It was a sloppy game overall, featuring a combined 31 turnovers, but the Pirates did limit the Jaspers to 37.9 percent shooting from the field.
In the second game Tuesday night, the Rebels came storming back from a 17-point deficit to knock off the Cougars 94-90. Ole Miss will enter the round of 64 as a No. 11 seed, and it will face the No. 6 Xavier Musketeers.
Ole Miss had to overcome a 33-point performance from BYU's Tyler Haws, but Stefan Moody led a balanced attack with 26 points to stoke the Rebels to the victory.
BYU's inability to take care of the ball was a killer. The Cougars committed 15 turnovers—compared to just seven for the Rebels. BYU's turnover woes offset the team's insane 51.7 percent shooting from three-point range.
Elise Jesse of WLWT in Cincinnati thinks Moody's ability to flame on could spell trouble for Xavier:
On Wednesday, the final pieces to the round-of-64 puzzle will fall into place. Here's the schedule:
| No. 16 North Florida vs. No. 16 Robert Morris | 6:40 p.m. | truTV | No. 1 Duke |
| No. 11 Dayton vs. No. 11 Boise State | 9:10 p.m. | truTV | No. 6 Providence |
The winner of the matchup between the North Florida Ospreys and Robert Morris Eagles will be in a situation similar to that of the Hampton Pirates: With the No. 1-seeded and well-rested Duke Blue Devils on the horizon, the Ospreys or Eagles will have a tough second-round game.
Obviously, the Boise State Broncos or Dayton Flyers will have a better chance to knock off the No. 6 Providence Friars. As a matter of fact, both the Broncos (San Diego State) and Flyers (VCU) beat ranked opponents on Feb. 28.
We'll see which can earn the right to the another upset opportunity on Wednesday.
