Zach Collins to Gonzaga: Bulldogs Land 4-Star Center Prospect

According to 247Sports' composite rankings, Collins is the No. 7 center in the country and ranks 47th overall. As things stand now, he's the only commit in the Zags' 2016 class.
Collins credited the effort Gonzaga put into recruiting him early on, per Jim Meehan of spokesman.com:
ESPN's Jeff Borzello thinks Collins is a great addition for Gonzaga:
Although Collins' post game is still a work in progress, he's agile for his size (6'10" and 210 pounds) and boasts an above-average jump shot. He has been somewhat overshadowed by teammates Stephen Zimmerman and Chase Jeter, both of whom are top-10 recruits in the 2015 class.
Max Mandel of SB Nation's The Slipper Still Fits spoke to Collins' father about the decision to choose Gonzaga. Mike Collins said that the relationship Zach built with the Bulldogs' staff was important but that just as big was the stylistic fit:
"Number one was the way they play. That's exactly how Zach wants to play. They play high intensity basketball that is all about the team. When you look at the players, they are so highly-skilled, but everything they do is so team-oriented, which is really hard to find."
Gonzaga continues to be one of the best mid-majors in the country under Few, and with somebody like Collins on the way, that shouldn't change over the next few years.
Collins has the potential to be the next Kelly Olynyk for the Bulldogs.
