Green Will Start vs. Mavericks After Missing One Game

Friday, April 4

Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle reported head coach Steve Kerr said Green will start against Dallas, though he will be mindful of how many minutes the big man plays.

Simmons reported that Green would miss April 2's game with a shin injury.

Although nobody is more important to the Warriors than Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, Green has established himself as an integral member of Golden State's roster. And his work on both ends of the floor hasn't gone unnoticed.

All of a sudden, the idea of giving a max contract to the 25-year-old doesn't sound that crazy.

There's no question that the Warriors will need Green as they make their playoff push.
