Brandon Knight Injury: Updates on Suns Star's Groin and Return

Knight Active vs. Nuggets

Thursday, March 10

The Suns communications team announced Knight will play Thursday against Denver.

How Knight's Injury History Impacts Suns

Having already dealt with a hip pointer and a sprained ankle during his brief time in Phoenix, Knight has had a tough go of it from a health standpoint since heading to the desert in a February 2015 trade.

The Suns have been juggling point guards in recent years but committed to Knight with a five-year, $70 million contract in the offseason. It's unfortunate that Knight has suffered so many health issues in his brief time with the team.

Eric Bledsoe and Knight coexisted well in the backcourt early in the 2015-16 campaign, but Bledsoe went down for the season after suffering a torn left meniscus in December.

The Suns are just 17-47 this season and long out of the playoff race, but Knight's return should make the team more exciting to watch.
