Sundays are fun days. They can be profitable nights in daily fantasy basketball at DraftKings, too. We take a look at the best lineups for March 15, providing the right value picks by position, focusing on the night action, where you can parlay your day-time winnings into a huge cash windfall.
PG Tony Parker, San Antonio Spurs ($6,400)
Parker knows how to turn up his game down the stretch, having scored 40-plus DraftKings points in each of his past four starts. This stretch has come after a cold spell, too. There are other guards putting up monster totals, but they cost more. If you're looking for more of a bargain, mid-range buy, Parker is your guy.
- Kyrie Irving, Cleveland Cavaliers ($8,100)
- Kyle Lowry, Toronto Raptors ($7,400)
- Jeff Teague, Atlanta Hawks ($6,700)
- Alexey Shved, New York Knicks ($5,800)
SG Eric Gordon, New Orleans Pelicans ($5,800)
Gordon is another pick who might not get you a huge total, but his price and recent consistency make him a smart buy. Also, the Denver Nuggets are 27th at DraftKings against shooting guards. Gordon is the best of the choices if you're not going with one of the top three at the position.
- Eric Bledsoe, Phoenix Suns ($7,800)
- Tim Hardaway Jr., New York Knicks ($4,300)
- Danny Green, San Antonio Spurs ($5,400)
SF Kawhi Leonard, San Antonio Spurs ($8,500)
We are not getting real creative billing this steady star, but at least we didn't merely resort to advising you to go with LeBron James ($10,900) at the top of the board. The thing we don't like about James is his team could pound the overmatched Orlando Magic and take the foot off the gas pedal. Leonard should get plenty of minutes against an opponent, the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are dead last at DraftKings against small forwards.
- LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers ($10,900)
- Danilo Gallinari, Denver Nuggets ($6,000)
PF Anthony Davis, New Orleans Pelicans ($11,000)
We understand the cost of Davis is relatively two mid-range players, but he also produces the points of two players—sometimes two really good players. Davis is coming off a disappointing performance and a concussion scare, but he is well rested for this one. We expect a return to his 30-point, 12-rebound, five-assist and five-block form. That is enough to be worth the premium you need to front to slot him into your lineup.
- Paul Millsap, Atlanta Hawks ($7,500)
- Marcus Morris, Phoenix Suns ($4,800)
C Al Horford, Atlanta Hawks ($6,900)
It is not often we hype Horford as a value pick, but it is equally rare to see him priced under $7,000. Horford also gets the lowly Los Angeles Lakers, who are 25th at DraftKings against centers. This game should not be close, but Horford shouldn't have much resistance on getting to 20 and 10 against the Lakers before he takes the rest of Sunday off.
- Gorgui Dieng, Minnesota Timberwolves ($5,700)
- Timofey Mozgov, Cleveland Cavaliers ($5,300)
