Sometimes you have to sink to the lowest depths to rise up to where you belong. That is what Rondo's blowup on his coach and subsequent punishment has meant to his numbers of late. He has looked closer to the distributor he was with the Boston Celtics and should be good for 30 to 40 DraftKings points.

If you're not staying on the Russell Westbrook ($12,000) premium plan, Rondo is an affordable alternative. The best news is the opponent, the Los Angeles Lakers, are the dead-last team at DraftKings versus point guards.

  • Russell Westbrook, Dallas Mavericks ($12,000)
  • Isaiah Thomas, Boston Celtics ($6,300)

SG Victor Oladipo, Orlando Magic ($7,900)

We hate going with the biggest ticket on the board at shooting guard, but the thing that sets the red-hot Oladipo apart from the scorers at the position is the fact that he contributes in other categories better than the others. His rebounding, assists and steals are up of late, and he has posted a Westbrook-like 70 points in his past two games. He is a tough man to ignore at the top of the board here, even if it is a defensive team like the Celtics in town.

  • Wayne Ellington, Los Angeles Lakers ($4,400)
  • Gerald Henderson, Charlotte Hornets ($5,000)

SF Terrence Ross, Toronto Raptors ($3,300)

If you're trying to squeeze Westbrook into your lineup Sunday night, you have to almost tie to him to the bargain Ross, who is getting more minutes than perhaps he should. The minutes are leading to more fantasy points than someone of his price usually gets. Ross is not a great scorer, but he can do enough in the 30-plus minutes he has been getting to contribute as one of the last players to fill out your stud-packed lineups.

  • Tobias Harris, Orlando Magic ($6,500)
  • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Charlotte Hornets ($6,000)

PF Jae Crowder, Boston Celtics ($5,200)

The Thunder's Serge Ibaka ($8,000) has mostly been a warrior in the second half, but if you cannot fit him into your budget, we like the poor man's warrior Crowder right now. This is one of the smallest power forwards in the NBA, but he plays big, especially of late for the upstart and undersized Celtics. The Magic also happen to be a favorable matchup, ranking just 20th against the position at DraftKings.

  • Serge Ibaka, Oklahoma City Thunder ($8,000)
  • Channing Frye, Orlando Magic ($4,000) ... start him over everyone if Nikola Vucevic ($8,300) remains out with an ankle injury.

C Rudy Gobert, Utah Jazz ($7,500)

He is no longer a daily fantasy bargain, but he has been one of the breakthrough players of the second half thus far. He has upped his minutes to the 35 range and with it has come a string of double-doubles or near misses. He is the Hassan Whiteside play when the Miami Heat are off. Ride Gobert against the Brooklyn Nets.

  • Al Jefferson, Charlotte Hornets ($7,700)
  • Jordan Hill, Los Angeles Lakers ($4,800)
