If you've been watching Houston Rockets guard James Harden do his thing lately, you've probably noticed that he's been using some sort of "stirring the pot" gesture whenever he hits a big shot.

Embracing the whole Unsolved Mysteries way of life, we decided to investigate what all of this meant.

An excursion through the tempestuous waters of social media led us to a record by Houston hip-hop artist Chedda Da Connect. Titled "Flicka Da Wrist," the motion in the video is eerily similar to the one Harden has been using.

Don't take our word for it. Peep the video evidence for yourself:

Melt together those Texas ties, and what you have is Harden embracing the latest trend out of H-Town.

"Flicka Da Wrist" can now officially be listed as a viral video sensation. Not only is an NBA superstar like Harden doing it on the court, but Rockets fans have embraced the movement as well:

Come to think of it, even retro movies like Romeo and Juliet are feeling it:

In the world of sports, "look at the flicka da wrist" means James Harden for the win. Although it really is too bad that Golden State Warriors sharpshooter Stephen Curry didn't get on this wagon first.

Considering he's the NBA's wrist-flicking lord, this jam would have been perfect for No. 30 and all of the obscene shots he's hit this season.

At least there was a YouTube user out there who gave us a Steph Curry "Flicka Da Wrist" montage:
