The problem is if you pick one of these high-priced options, you have to balance it out with some cheaper picks.

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
Early Afternoon Contests (12 p.m. ET)
Angel Rodriguez, Miami ($6,300)

Although Angel Rodriguez had been going through a miserable slump over the past few weeks, the point guard broke out of it in a big way Wednesday with 25 points, five assists and four rebounds in a win over Florida State.
According to Christina De Nicola of Fox Sports Florida, Rodriguez got help from sports psychologist Dr. Bob Rotella before the game. Whether this helped or not, the difference was the junior's ability to attack the basket instead of settling for jumpers.
In a fast-paced game against North Carolina, he should get a lot of chances to put up big numbers.
Tyler Wideman, Butler ($3,600)
With Andrew Chrabasz likely still out with a hand injury, according to Michael Pointer of the Indy Star, Tyler Wideman has a good chance to remain in the starting lineup for Butler. The freshman definitely took advantage of his last appearance, finishing with eight points and eight rebounds in 26 minutes against Marquette.
Rich Nye of WTHR was impressed by the young player's performance:
Against a DePaul team that has lost eight of its last nine games and generally gets destroyed in the post, Wideman has another chance to exceed his value with a strong game. For a safer player, however, you might want to spend a bit more money on Kameron Woods ($6,500).
| Jake Layman | Maryland | $5,900 |
| Kenrich Williams | TCU | $5,500 |
| Demarco Cox | Georgia Tech | $5,200 |
| Sebastian Saiz | Ole Miss | $4,900 |
| Wayne Blackshear | Louisville | $4,900 |
Late Afternoon Contests (4 p.m. ET)
Devin Booker, Kentucky ($5,500)

Finding consistency from a Kentucky player is difficult due to John Calipari's deep bench. However, Devin Booker has been a bright spot in just about every game.
Over the last 10 games, the freshman is averaging 12.5 points per game while reaching at least nine each time out. Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports has also noticed the player's ability to contribute in other ways:
"UK's Devin Booker is proving he's more than just a shooter. Only 3-12 from 3 in last two games but grabbed 11 boards during that span. #BBN

Additionally, Saturday's matchup against Arkansas could be a bit of a change for the Wildcats as it should be a high-scoring battle. This plays right into Booker's hands as someone who will be open all day long.
Nigel Johnson, Kansas State ($3,700)
This risky play depends on whether you think Nigel Johnson's excellent game against Kansas was a fluke or a sign of things to come.
The guard scored a career high of 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting in the upset win over the Jayhawks. Of course, this came after scoring exactly zero points in the previous two games. There is certainly reason to doubt the guard's ability to replicate his performance.
Still, Kansas State has struggled to find a go-to option on the perimeter while Marcus Foster continues to struggle (7-of-30 in the past three games). Against Iowa State, which ranks 244th in the nation in three-point defense, Johnson could be worth the risk for his low price.
| Kelly Oubre Jr. | Kansas | $5,400 |
| Bryce Dejean-Jones | Iowa State | $5,300 |
| Thomas Gipson | Kansas State | $5,100 |
| Lester Medford | Baylor | $4,500 |
| Stephane Manga | Seton Hall | $3,800 |
Evening Contests (6 p.m. ET)
Kourtney Roberson, Texas A&M ($6,000)

Texas A&M has a quality backcourt in Danuel House and Alex Caruso, but it's the frontcourt that should dominate Auburn on Saturday.
The Tigers have struggled throughout much of the SEC season, but especially in the low post. According to KenPom.com, Auburn ranks 342nd in the nation in two-point defense to go with the fact it is one of the worst rebounding teams in college basketball.
As a result, Jalen Jones and Kourtney Roberson should continue their quality stretch of recent games. Roberson has especially stood out with an average of 14.5 points and 8.8 rebounds in the last four games. This solid effort should do just fine on your team no matter what type of contest you are in.
Vic Law, Northwestern ($4,900)
While Vic Law had shown plenty of potential earlier in the year, he is now proving he can be a star for Northwestern. The freshman has a combined 31 points over the last two games, taking over as one of the go-to scorers on the offensive end.
Law has also been especially impressive from the outside, shooting 9-of-13 from three-point range in the last three games.
Illinois has a solid defense, but the group is seeing its season fall apart with three losses in a row. Law will do everything he can to try to keep this streak going with another big game on the offensive end.
| Przemek Karnowski | Gonzaga | $5,800 |
| Trevor Cooney | Syracuse | $5,700 |
| Kendrick Nunn | Illinois | $5,500 |
| Chase Fischer | BYU | $5,100 |
| Malik Martin | USC | $3,900 |
