James Harden Sends Minnesota's Ricky Rubio to the Floor with Step-Back, Hits 3

Tristan ThornburghFeb 23, 2015

The Houston Rockets' James Harden is the NBA's leading scorer for a reason—because he's one of the toughest defensive assignments in the league, as the Minnesota Timberwolves' Ricky Rubio learned the hard way Monday night.

In the third quarter, Harden lulled Rubio to sleep with some crossovers and then hit him with a nasty step-back move that sent Rubio down to one knee before Harden nailed a triple near the end of the third quarter.

Harden also showed off with a well-deserved dance after the nasty play.
