Grant Exits Magic Game With Back Injury
Sunday, Feb. 22
The Sixers' official Twitter account provided the details on Grant's status on Sunday:
Dei Lynam of CSN Philly added the circumstances behind Grant's departure from the contest:
Grant has a minimal role on a putrid Philadelphia squad that is still in the midst of a rebuilding project. The rookie's absence isn't a positive development, as the Sixers need their young players to gain experience as the front office determines which ones to keep around for the long haul.
Absent many other current assets on the roster, Grant's injury is the latest blow to a team that has little to no means of winning basketball games at the present time.
