Crystal Palace vs. Arsenal: Team News, Predicted Line-Ups, Live Stream, TV Info

James McNicholasFeb 20, 2015

This weekend, Arsenal face a significant challenge as they travel to south London to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Of the Gunners' remaining away games in the league, only the trip to Manchester United in May looks more problematic. Under Alan Pardew, Palace are a resurgent force and will fancy their chances of causing an upset at Selhurt Park.

When these two sides met on the opening day of the season, it took a stoppage-time goal from Aaron Ramsey to snatch the three points for Arsenal. The indications are that it could be just as close this time around.

Arsenal are enjoying a decent run of form, having lost just three of their last 18 matches in all competitions. They have also won three of the six London derbies they have played this season.

Palace, meanwhile, have lost just one of their last seven league games. The last five of those games have been under the stewardship of Pardew, whose return has provided the club with an enormous boost. They now appear certainties to stay up and are pushing on into mid-table.

Team News

Arsenal will welcome back Jack Wilshere. The England international has been absent since November but has completed his rehabilitation and should replace Mathieu Flamini in the matchday squad.

The major fitness doubt surrounds Hector Bellerin, who will undergo a fitness test before the game. Arsene Wenger will be eager to give him every chance to play: The Spaniard's speed could be vital against Palace's fleet-footed forwards.

Palace should welcome back captain Mile Jedinak and James McArthur but will be without on-loan striker Yaya Sanogo who is ineligible to play.

Players to Watch

The diminutive Spaniard has been in sensational form of late, operating in a deep-lying midfield role alongside Francis Coquelin.

With Aaron Ramsey still out and Jack Wilshere yet to regain sharpness, Cazorla is likely to continue orchestrating Arsenal's attacks from deep at Selhurt Park.

Crystal Palace: Yannick Bolasie

Bolasie's return from competing for his country in Africa was a huge boost to Palace. Although Wilfried Zaha probably wins for attention on account of being English, Bolasie is arguably the more consistent threat from the flanks.

If Bellerin misses out, Arsenal may be forced to field Nacho Monreal and Calum Chambers at full-back. Bolasie would certainly fancy his chances when taking on either of those players in a foot race.
