New Orleans Pelicans All-Star point guard Jrue Holiday has been ruled out for the April 13 matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a lower right leg injury.

Holiday Out vs. Timberwolves
Monday, April 13
The Pelicans announced that Holiday will miss Monday's pivotal game due to a leg injury:
".@OchsnerHealth injury update: Jrue Holiday (stress reaction - lower right leg) is OUT tonight vs. Minnesota.
— New Orleans Pelicans (@PelicansNBA) April 13, 2015"
Holiday's stint in New Orleans has been hampered by injuries. A fractured tibia limited him to just 34 games in 2013-14, and a shin fracture has stymied his second season with the Pelicans.
He played in the last two games for the Pelicans, logging 31 combined minutes, but Holiday is now back on the injury report.
It would be exciting for fans to get a chance to see what New Orleans could do with a fully healthy lineup.
Superstar big man Anthony Davis gives the Pelicans hope no matter what happens when he's on the hardwood. However, the team could use Holiday's quickness on the perimeter and ability to create offense to realize its full potential.
For the season, Holiday is averaging 14.9 points, 6.9 assists and 3.4 rebounds in 39 games played.
