Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑

In a year in which Duke basketball has once again been near the pinnacle of the ACC all season, Quinn Cook has been the team's leader. Sure, Jahlil Okafor puts up astounding statistics, but Cook offers fantasy players the best fit.
His cost is much lower than other lead guards for Monday night. The value he offers, on the other hand, is limitless. Lauren Brownlow of Fox Sports notes exactly why the senior point guard is Duke's X-factor:
"As opponents key on some of his teammates, and as freshmen have their freshmen moments -- as they tend to do -- Cook has been the one who's stepped up to fill that void, never quite letting teams run away when they're starting to build a lead and even igniting comebacks. ...
He's carried Duke through some tough times. And he's been a big part of the reason that the younger and older guys -- at least the ones who are still on the team -- have meshed together so seamlessly, relatively speaking.
"
Despite a down game Saturday, Cook has scored more than 20 fantasy points in eight of his last 10 games. Look for Cook to light up a Florida State team that ranks 215th in the country in points allowed (67.8 per game). With a plethora of weapons around him, Cook will get back on track against the Seminoles.
G Montay Brandon, Florida State ($5,900)

It's rare for a guard to lead an ACC team in rebounding, but that's exactly what Montay Brandon provides FSU. The Seminoles rely on Brandon to not only score at a high clip (12.8 PPG) but also rebound with the same effectiveness (5.4 RPG).
His athleticism will be a necessity for the Noles against a Duke team that ranks ninth in the country in scoring. Scoring 3.4 more fantasy points at home than on the road, Brandon will have another huge night against the Blue Devils.
F Georges Niang, Iowa State ($8,100)
| 18.25 | 4.75 | 8-12 | 3.25 | 30.07 |
Following a mediocre game against Texas Tech, Georges Niang's salary is down to $8,100. Fantasy players who spend low on a third guard or forward can afford Georges Niang, despite the steep price.
His 38 and 40.5 fantasy points in the two games prior provide reason enough to believe he's worth that price. Tack on the fact that Niang can score from anywhere on the floor, and owners have assurance that he'll come through with another huge performance.
F Charles Mitchell, Georgia Tech ($5,000)

Charles Mitchell has been up and down for Georgia Tech all season. The former Maryland forward has been mostly up recently, warranting a spot as a third forward for DraftKings owners.
Scoring more than 15 points in two of his last three games, Mitchell is slowly becoming a powerful presence in the paint for the Yellow Jackets. As the team's second-leading scorer and top rebounder, look for Mitchell to dominate against an undersized Virginia Tech frontcourt.
UTIL Matt Jones, Duke ($4,600)

No Sulaimon, no problem.
Ever since the Devils dismissed Rasheed Sulaimon from the program, the team has gone 3-0 with wins over No. 2 Virginia and No. 10 Notre Dame. During that stretch, Matt Jones has gradually improved into a blossoming star.
Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports offered his take on the sophomore:
Those were just his first two games after Sulaimon's departure. On Saturday against the Irish, Jones posted a career-high 17 points. His season totals might be low, but Jones is a perfect option for a utility spot at a reasonable price.
