Mike ChiariMar 25, 2015

Dwyane Wade has been the one constant for the Miami Heat over the past dozen years, but the potential future Hall of Famer's injury woes continue to impact him this season. After missing a March 25 game against the Celtics, Wade returned to the court two days later against the Atlanta Hawks.

Wade Returns vs. Hawks

Friday, March 27

Wade returned to action tonight, scoring 13 points in 22 minutes of action as the Hawks defeated the Heat, 99-86.

On March 25, the Heat announced that Wade missed Wednesday's game vs. the Celtics with a left knee contusion.

D-Wade became a secondary star of sorts during LeBron James' time in Miami, but he has reassumed his role as the team's go-to scorer alongside Chris Bosh in 2014-15 following LeBron's departure.

The main thing that has hampered the former Marquette standout this season is a handful of hamstring injuries. Wade missed seven games in the month of November due to a balky hamstring, but he was able to battle his way back into the lineup and perform at a high level.
