Anyone who criticizes an Oklahoma City Thunder player better be prepared to deal with Kevin Durant.

On Tuesday, Oklahoma City announced that it had reached a multi-year extension with forward Nick Collison. The move got Durant's approval:

Congrats Mr. Thunder, such a honor to play alongside you @nickcollison4

NBA writer Chris Palmer, formerly of ESPN, and a Bleacher Report contributor, was not a fan of the move, however. Palmer used Twitter to take a shot at Collison and the Thunder, which led to Durant coming to his teammate's defense:

Chris Martin Palmer @ChrisPalmerNBA

Dude who averages 3 pts & 3 rebs gets 2-year/$8M extension. No wonder they won't make the playoffs.

Kevin Durant @KDTrey5

@ChrisPalmerNBA means a lot coming from a dude who got fired for being a dumbass

Back in 2013, Palmer and ESPN went their separate ways.

Palmer responded to Durant:

Chris Martin Palmer @ChrisPalmerNBA

@KDTrey5 Love that you got your teammates back. But you should get your facts straight.

If you recall, this wasn't the first time that Durant had an issue with Palmer:

There appears to be some bad blood between these two, and it's doubtful that will go away anytime soon.
