The Memphis Grizzlies have consistently been one of the best teams in the Western Conference this season, and a large part of that comes down to Conley orchestrating the offense.
Conley suffered an injury to his ankle against the Boston Celtics Wednesday night, per Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated. He managed to return to the bench for the remainder of the game but was in pain after its conclusion, per Ronald Tillery of The Commercial Appeal:
Conley had a career year in 2013-14, averaging 17.2 points and six assists a game. His 1.4 made three-pointers a game were also massive on a Grizzlies team that finished last in the category. In fact, Conley accounted for 28.5 percent of the team's entire average (4.9).
Even after such a great season, the veteran point guard has followed up with an even better campaign, and as a result, the Grizzlies are battling for the best record in the West.
