
Vince Carter Injury: Updates on Grizzlies Forward's Foot and Return
Vince Carter injured his foot against the Denver Nuggets on Thursday, Jan. 29, and missed the rest of the game. He was diagnosed with a tendon injury and did not return until Mar. 6 against the Lakers.

Chris Vernon of 92.6 ESPN reported Carter would be available against the Lakers. Carter would play six minutes in the contest.
Carter Diagnosed with Tendon Injury in Left Foot

"Carter underwent a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) today, which revealed a left foot tendon injury," the Grizzlies announced.
The 38-year-old injured his left foot in the second quarter against the Nuggets on Jan. 29, per Kevin Lipe of the Memphis Flyer:
Ronald Tillery of The Commercial Appeal in Memphis noted Carter needed help walking back to the locker room and would undergo an MRI.
Carter entered the game averaging 6.1 points a game on 33.6 percent shooting. Both numbers are well below his averages in 2013-14, and his struggles in part necessitated the midseason trade for Jeff Green.
Still, the veteran 2-guard averaged 16.8 minutes a night and helped to round out Memphis' bench.
