Daily Fantasy Basketball 2015: Best NBA DFS DraftKings Lineup for Jan. 25, 2015

Eric MackJan 25, 2015

This should be a wide-open daily fantasy Sunday at DraftKings. Not only are there 11 games on the day's slate, but there are also some big over-under totals on the Las Vegas board. The Los Angeles Clippers at the Phoenix Suns and the Boston Celtics at the Golden State Warriors offer big numbers, with totals of 220.5 and 216.5, according to OddsShark.com.

We help you sort through the Sunday fun-day options for your daily lineups here:

PG Mo Williams, Minnesota Timberwolves ($6,000)

Williams is in a shooting slump, failing to make a three in over a week after a bit of a hot streak in the middle of the month. The good news—well, bad news for Ricky Rubio (ankle)—is Williams is getting big, big minutes. He is also coming off a double-double.

We don't think Williams is going to get another 52-point effort for us to cash in with, but he is going to come out of that shooting slump. The minutes help with Rubio remaining out with an injury more serious than originally believed, as Kent Youngblood of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported.

  • Isaiah Thomas, Phoenix Suns ($5,400)
  • Patrick Beverly, Houston Rockets ($5,200)

SG Avery Bradley, Boston Celtics ($4,200)

Not only has Bradley scored 18 in each of his past two games with starters minutes, but he also will have to be leaned on more heavily with guard Marcus Smart (bereavement) out Sunday, the voice of the Celtics, Sean Grande, tweeted Saturday night. Bradley, Evan Turner and Marcus Thornton will form the guard rotation, although Jae Crowder could get some minutes as a shooting guard.

It also helps that Warriors game should be a bit loose on the scoreboard and the Warriors are just middle of the pack against shooting guards, per Draft Kings.

  • Evan Turner, Boston Celtics ($5,300)
  • Jamal Crawford, Los Angeles Clippers ($4,900)

SF Kawhi Leonard, San Antonio Spurs ($7,800)

Here is our big-ticket star play. Leonard is hot and much healthier now. He is also facing a Milwaukee Bucks team that is 30th against the small forward position at DraftKings.

"I just go out there with the mindset to do what I can, bring as much energy as possible, and that's the results," he told The Sports Xchange, KTUU Channel 2 in San Antonio amid his hot return from a hand injury.

Leonard can still make good on his price, despite being the most expensive small forward on the board.

  • DeMarre Carroll, Atlanta Hawks ($5,100)
  • Khris Middleton, Milwaukee Bucks ($4,800)

PF Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas Mavericks ($6,400)

The old man looks like his old self...in a good way as of late. Over his past four games he is shooting over 56 percent from the field and averaging 21.5 points per game. He has put a bad December in his rear view, and his overall season numbers have mitigated the height of his price at the star-studded power forward spot. He represents a bargain right now.

  • Dante Cunningham, New Orleans Pelicans ($3,400)
  • Jae Crowder, Boston Celtics ($3,500)
  • Marreese Speights, Golden State Warriors ($4,200)

C Andrew Bogut, Golden State Warriors ($4,600)

The Celtics have a varied rotation of big men, but none of them are that scary. It is the reason DraftKings lists the Celtics just 23rd against fantasy centers this season to date. Bogut should be a big reason the number pushes toward the aforementioned big total out West on Sunday. Expect a 10-point, 10-rebound performance with a handful of blocks. He can hit the 30-point fantasy mark with a nice price here.

  • Robert Sacre, Houston Rockets ($3,400)
  • Jordan Hill, Los Angeles Lakers ($5,600)
