Jefferson Injures Calf vs. Kings

Wednesday, March 11

According to Bonnell, Jefferson suffered a calf injury on Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings:

He scored nine points and grabbed six rebounds in 24 minutes of action before leaving the Kings' 113-106 win.

Jefferson has endured his share of injuries already this season, including being diagnosed with a groin injury that caused him to miss nine games in January.

Scoring has been a problem for Charlotte, as it was during the postseason push last year, but Jefferson has been terrific with an average of 17.4 points and 8.8 rebounds per game heading into Wednesday night.
