On Monday night, Dion Waiters was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to the Cleveland Cavaliers' official website, and the three-team deal could go a long way in helping improve the Cavs' chemistry.

Waiters and Kyrie Irving are no longer teammates, and that may be for the best.

There had been reports about the two players butting heads in previous seasons. As much as the team may have wanted Irving and Waiters to coexist, it just wasn't possible.

According to Fox Sports Ohio's Sam Amico, Waiters wasn't buying into Cleveland coach David Blatt's system. Why not? Per Amico, Waiters believes he is better than Irving:

Cavs coach Blatt told Waiters he needed spot-up shooter. Waiters resisted. Believes he's better than Kyrie, thought Kyrie "favored" by Cavs.

Each player was a top-four pick in his respective draft. As of right now, not many people would take Waiters over Irving to build a franchise around.
