Cousins Will Play vs. Knicks

The Kings provided an update on Cousins' status:

Cousins Out vs. Suns

Friday, Dec. 26

The Kings reveal Cousins is out for tonight's matchup against the Suns.

James Ham of NBA.com previously revealed Cousins was questionable with an illness.

There are few individuals who are as vital to their team's success as Boogie. He missed 10 games earlier this season with viral meningitis, and in those games, Sacramento went 2-8.

The Kings head into Friday's with a 12-16 record now.

Cousins, 24, has quickly developed into one of the most dominant low-post forces in the league. When healthy, he has played like a legitimate First-Team All-NBA candidate.

It does not seems as though Cousins will miss a significant amount of time, though his presence will be sorely missed on Friday.
