Landry Fields Injury: Updates on Raptors Guard's Concussion and Return

Despite owning the best record in the Eastern Conference, the Toronto Raptors are starting to get beat up. Landry Fields left the team's game against Detroit on Dec. 19 with a head injury. He was cleared to play against the Warriors on Jan. 2.

Fields Suffers Head Injury

According to the Raptors' official Twitter, Fields needed stitches for a wound on his head that was suffered after crashing into the ground:

Fields fell over the top of Kyle Singler while attempting to block a three, landing head-first onto the court. 

Fields is averaging 3.3 points per game and has appeared in 11 of Toronto's 26 games entering Friday night, including five starts.
