According to the Raptors' official Twitter, Fields needed stitches for a wound on his head that was suffered after crashing into the ground:
Fields fell over the top of Kyle Singler while attempting to block a three, landing head-first onto the court.
Fields is averaging 3.3 points per game and has appeared in 11 of Toronto's 26 games entering Friday night, including five starts.
