The Los Angeles Clippers will have to make do without power forward Spencer Hawes for at least a short amount of time, as he was taken out of Friday's game against Washington with a knee injury.

Hawes has turned into one Los Angeles' best bench players. He's averaging 6.6 points and 4.5 rebounds in 17.5 minutes per game. The Clippers are fortunate to have a lot of size on the inside with Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, but Hawes' absence does put a significant dent in Doc Rivers' system.
