Howie Kendrick to Dodgers: Latest Trade Details, Comments and Reaction
It didn't take long for the Los Angeles Dodgers to find a replacement for Dee Gordon.

MLB.com's Ken Gurnick was the first to report the deal.
As Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal noted, this is a move that addresses each team's weakness:
Kendrick, who finished sixth among all second basemen with a 4.6 WAR (wins above replacement) last season, is about as consistent as they come. He has hit below .285 just once in his career, has a little bit of pop and plays very good defense.
The 31-year-old is also light on the books, as he's set to make a reasonable $9.5 million in the final year of his current deal.
Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reported things from the Angels' perspective:
As for the Angels, they needed depth in the rotation with Garrett Richards not expected back by Opening Day. Heaney's first stint in the majors didn't go well (5.83 ERA, 1.33 WHIP), but the former top prospect is 23 years old and has a bright future in front of him.
He also has a sense of humor, as he took to Twitter to reflect on his several-hour-long career with the Dodgers:
Furthermore, this may be an indication the Halos are comfortable turning to 27-year-old Grant Green at second base, although Jerry Dipoto may also not be done making moves.
The same goes for Andrew Friedman and Farhan Zaidi, who are making a huge statement in their first winter with the Dodgers.
