Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, are in the midst of a trip to New York and decided to take in an NBA game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center.

Cavaliers star LeBron James described playing in front of the royal couple as an "honor" in an interview with ESPN.

Well I've had people from all across the board as far as stature, but the President of the United States, that was pretty huge. To have those two, to say they were traveling here and one of the things that they wanted to do was see me play, it's a pretty big deal in my household.

The two sat with NBA legend Dikembe Mutombo during the game.

The two then met hip-hop's own royal couple, Beyonce and Jay Z, between quarters.

After the Cavaliers' 110-88 win, the Duke and Duchess met with NBA royalty in LeBron James.

Let's hope that Kevin Garnett kept his trash talk PG-13 or better with royalty in attendance.
