Kevin Durant Gives Pair of Shoes to Fan Who Had KDs Stolen Right Off Feet
When Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant heard about an unfortunate incident involving 13-year-old Anthony Cupp, he wanted to make things right.
As Shawn Ley of WDIV reported last month, Cupp—who lives in Michigan—had a pair of KD7s stolen right off his feet on his way home from school one day. He had worked hard to save up the money to buy the sneakers, and just like that, they were gone.
However, this story has a happy ending.
Oklahoma City played in Detroit on Sunday, so Durant did his part to make the situation better before the game by hooking Cupp up with a backpack full of KD gear and giving him a signed pair of the sneakers.

It was unfortunate that the teen had to go through this situation, but he ended up getting a memory that will last a lifetime—and some free gear.
