All five Celtics starters finished in double figures in the win. Rajon Rondo was particularly prolific, compiling 12 points, a game-high 16 assists and eight rebounds. In fact, Rondo had more assists than the Lakers did as a team (14).

Jeff Green poured in 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting while Jared Sullinger posted a double-double consisting of 17 points and 13 boards. Avery Bradley chipped in 16 points, as well.

As a team, the Celtics shot 51.1 percent from the field, 40 percent from three and out-rebounded the Lakers, 54-38.

Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 22 points on 9-of-21 shooting, but L.A. was a team-worst minus-29 with him on the floor. Conversely, the Celtics were a team-best plus-40 with Rondo on the floor.

Jordan Hill added 13 points on a perfect 6-of-6 shooting while pulling down four rebounds, but played just 22 minutes. Robert Sacre, on the other hand, shot 1-of-10 from the field and scored two points while playing 26 minutes off the pine.

Nick Young poured in 16 points off the bench, but the Lakers struggled as a unit, shooting 41.3 percent from the field.

The Lakers will look to get back on the winning track Sunday against the New Orleans Pelicans while the Celtics will have a chance to extend their winning streak Sunday at home against the Washington Wizards.
