Individual Battles to Watch
Travis Trice (Michigan State) vs. Jerian Grant (Notre Dame)

Most point guards either fit the Russell Westbrook role of go-to scorer or the Chris Paul role of facilitator. It's extremely difficult to both lead a team in scoring while also finding ways to get teammates involved.
Somehow, both Travis Trice and Jerian Grant have pulled off this rare feat.
Trice currently leads Michigan State with 16.8 points and 6.5 assists per game. Grant has been even better with 18.7 points and seven assists per game. Trice and Grant have become leaders offensively while making everyone around them better.
Tom Noie of the South Bend Tribune knows what could be in store for Wednesday:
The real question is whether Trice can help the team when facing a quality defense with quick and athletic opponents. Michigan State's two losses on the year were to Duke and Kansas, and Trice went just 10-of-29 shooting in these games combined.
If Grant can use his size at 6'5" to get in his opposition's way, it could make a big impact on Notre Dame's chances against the Spartans.
D'Angelo Russell (Ohio State) vs. Terry Rozier (Louisville)

According to ESPN's Chad Ford (subscription required), both D'Angelo Russell and Terry Rozier project as first-round picks in the 2015 draft, meaning they will each have a lot to prove against each other in this game.
While Rozier is likely to be a point guard at the next level, the presence of Chris Jones pushes him to the 2, which will give him the added challenge of defending Russell while giving up about four inches.
Of course, stopping Russell will be a problem for just about anyone this season. Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman discussed his thoughts about the guard's ability:
The Ohio State star is currently averaging 18 points per game while making 48.3 percent of his shots from beyond the arc. He knows how to create his own shot, and he has the ability to carry the Buckeyes when needed.
Rozier has a bit of a different style, as he uses his quickness to drive past everyone and get into the lane. This fits perfectly with Louisville's fast-paced attack off the press defense.
While there will be other talented players on the floor in this game, Russell and Rozier will be the most exciting ones to watch.
Frank Kaminsky (Wisconsin) vs. Jahlil Okafor (Duke)

This is not only the best individual matchup of the week but one of the best you will see in college basketball all season.
Frank Kaminsky and Jahlil Okafor play the same position, but the two centers could not be more opposite.
The Duke freshman entered the season with as much hype as anyone in the country thanks to his physically imposing nature on the court. The 6'11", 270-pound player gets into the post and stays there while dominating on both offense and defense.
Head coach Mike Krzyzewski believes Okafor, who is averaging 17.2 and 7.8 rebounds in his first seven games, could be the best big man in school history:
On the other hand, Kaminsky was a late-bloomer but put in the work to be one of the best collegiate players in the nation. He is currently averaging 16.6 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game as he looks to go from little-used sophomore to breakout junior to All-American senior.
While he doesn't have the athleticism of Okafor, Kaminsky is incredibly skilled and can shoot from the outside or drive to the lane against slower defenders.
The two styles will clash Wednesday, and the winner of this battle will likely decide which team comes away victorious.
