The San Antonio Spurs captured a seventh straight win behind 18 points, six rebounds and three assists from Danny Green in a 111-89 victory over the Boston Celtics Sunday afternoon.
Boston (4-10) has now lost four straight while the Spurs (12-4) are 7-0 when scoring at least 100 points this season, according to Project Spurs' Paul Garcia.
Despite trailing by four points at halftime, the Spurs outscored the Celtics, 66-40, over the game's final two quarters, including 33-16 in the final frame.
In total, five Spurs players (and four starters) finished in double figures, including Tim Duncan (14 points, eight rebounds), Boris Diaw (15 points, seven rebounds) and Kawhi Leonard (12 points, six rebounds).
Tony Parker was shaky at times (3-of-10 shooting), but managed to total nine points and a team-high nine dimes in 31 minutes.
As a team, San Antonio shot 48 percent from the field and 42 percent from three.
Jeff Green paced the Celtics with 16 points on 6-of-16 shooting, but Boston was a team-worst minus-28 with him on the floor.
Boston's bench was steady, though, with Brandon Bass (10 points), Marcus Thornton (10 points) and Evan Turner (12 points) all finishing in double figures off the pine.
Rajon Rondo scored just two points in the loss, but led the Celtics with 10 assists.
San Antonio will look to capture an eighth consecutive win when it squares off against the Philadelphia 76ers Monday night while the Celtics will attempt to snap their streak Tuesday against the Atlanta Hawks.
