Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune provided more details on Martin's return:
"Kevin Martin plans to play tonight against Boston at Target Center, his first game back since he fractured his right shooting wrist against New York on Nov. 19, according to sources with knowledge of his health.
He had hoped to make his return last Wednesday against Dallas, but awoke that morning with it significantly swollen.

Martin Suffers Wrist Fracture
Friday, Nov. 21
Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Kevin Martin will be out of action for an indefinite period of time after suffering a wrist fracture during the team's 115-99 win over the New York Knicks on Wednesday.
The team's official public relations feed on Twitter provided a statement, which suggested a clearer timetable should emerge after further evaluation:
Despite suffering the injury in the opening quarter, Martin would go on to score a game-high 37 points in the win.
Martin leads the Wolves in scoring at a shade over 20 points per game, while also averaging around 30 minutes per contest in the team's first 10 games of the season.
Martin's heavy role in Minnesota's offense and extended absence could make Flip Saunders think twice about trading Corey Brewer, who will likely split Martin's minutes with Mo Williams. Brewer is rumored to be on the trade block for playoff contenders, as ESPN.com's Marc Stein reported, but according to Associated Press reporter Jon Krawczynski, Saunders may be re-evaluating that stance:
Martin is now another name on the Timberwolves' long list of unavailable players. Minnesota will be without several key players for Friday night's game against the San Antonio Spurs, including Martin, Ricky Rubio, Nikola Pekovic and Thaddeus Young.
