Calhoun Injures Knee in Preseason
Omar Calhoun is out Thursday against the College of Charleston, per The Hartford Courant's Dom Amore.
Calhoun suffered a sprained knee before the season began and didn't play in the Huskies' 66-53 win over Bryant on Friday. The junior's availability was in question for the beginning of the season, per Neil Ostrout of The Journal Inquirer, but head coach Kevin Ollie hoped that Calhoun could make it back before opening night.
The 6'5" junior averaged 3.8 points and 0.4 assists for the Huskies in 13.4 minutes per game last season.
