Lewis Not Cleared to Play
Shaka Smart updated JeQuan Lewis' status following his concussion, via Myron Medcalf of ESPN.com:
"JeQuan Lewis, who suffered a concussion in VCU's win over Tennessee on Friday, has improved but he has not been cleared to play in Tuesday's game against Toledo, according to coach Shaka Smart.
'Not sure yet,' Smart told ESPN.com on Monday. 'He still will need to be cleared [by the team's medical staff] in order to play. It is possible.'

Friday, Nov. 14
VCU guard JeQuan Lewis was taken off the court against Tennessee on Friday after his head slammed into the floor. With just over eight minutes to go in the first half, Lewis went down hard after battling with Tennessee's Dominic Woodson for a rebound. Woodson fell on top of Lewis, who landed head first on the court.

Lewis is entering his second season with VCU. As a freshman in 2013-14, he averaged 5.9 points and two assists in 35 games.
